How Liquidity Windows work

How and when you can sell shares to other investors.

Four windows a year

Real estate is hard to sell quickly. Cavisa opens a trading window on the first business day of each quarter for ten business days. The calendar is published 90 days ahead. Outside a window, shares can't be bought or sold between investors.

A fair price band

Before each window, every eligible home gets a from its independent appraisal, approved by two people. Your price has to sit inside the around it, usually 10% either way.

Orders collect all day. At 4:00 PM Eastern, a finds one price that matches the most shares. Everyone who matches trades at that price, so a seller never gets less than their limit and a buyer never pays more.

Fees and settlement

The trading fee is 1.0% of trade value, each side. A matched trade settles about two business days later, when the shares and cash change hands. If no buyer matches before the window closes, your order expires and you keep your shares.
